The Inspiration Behind MYKA
Avi Ben David, CEO of Mulholland Brand, has always had a deep connection with animals. That bond became even more personal when he rescued his donkey, Myka. After Myka faced a life-threatening condition, many believed she wouldn’t survive. Refusing to accept that outcome, Avi sought out a specialist willing to perform the critical surgery she needed. Against the odds, Myka recovered, becoming a symbol of resilience and compassion. Her story inspired the MYKA Foundation, named in her honor, to protect and support animals in need. Avi’s dedication continues to shape the foundation’s mission to create a safer world for every paw and hoof.
